With an eye to creating a pasta sauce range made locally, Tasmanian Gourmet Kitchen experimented and has come up with a range of three varieties including Tomato & Olive. Unfortunately, to keep the price affordable overseas tinned tomatoes have been used. However, local products such as onions and chillies have been used, where possible. Created in small batches Tasmanian Gourmet Kitchen has hit on some great flavours. Bill’s Pasta Sauce: Tomato & Olive won a gold medal at the 2013 Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards receiving a score of 98 out of 100!
