Diemen Pepper’s Tapas Oil is Australian olive oil spiced with Tasmanian Native Pepper. Great as part of a spicy marinade or tapenade or for frying up some mushrooms. Goes well served with crusty bread, with or without the addition of dukkah.
With the Tasmanian Native Pepper, both the leaves and berries are harvested for their spicy, hot properties, with its pepper heat coming from an unusual flavour compound.

Diemen Pepper is a major producer of Tasmanian Native Pepper based in south east Tasmania. It was started in 1994 by Chris, who is still the hands-on owner. Sustainable harvesting methods are used to ensure continuity of supply and continued health of the bush.
