Forager Fruits have selected fresh Tasmanian apples, given them a wash, cut them into wedges with the skin left on and freeze dried them. Full of flavour and extra crunchy, they would have to be the next best thing to fresh apples. If you have children that are reluctant fruit eaters, this might be just what is needed to win them over! Each bag contains one whole apple with nothing added and just water removed. Oh and they aren’t just for kids!
There are three products in the range: 100% Tasmanian Crunchy Dried Apple Wedges, 100% Tasmanian Crunchy Dried Apple Wedges infused with Blackcurrant (apple wedges dipped in blackcurrant juice), 100% Tasmanian Crunchy Dried Apple Wedges infused with raspberry (apple wedges dipped in raspberry juice).
Apples used in Forager Fruits are grown at Spreyton in the North West of Tasmania. After some experimenting, it was decided the best apple varieties to use were Jonagold, Pink Lady and Sundowner. The raspberry and blackcurrant juice is sourced from Westerway Raspberry Farm in the Derwent Valley.

Behind Forager Fruits are Hazel and Darren of Hobart and John and Sophie of Deloraine. Out of their frustration at the lack of tasty, natural and healthy snacks available for children (and their parents) Forager Fruits was born.
